The average user likes (and uses) the context menus.
I don't think the average user knows what they like or want until someone
tells them. <lol>
They don't want to use command lines - they want graphical UI.
Just because I'm able to use command lines doesn't mean that's what I use
all the time. I think I mentioned that I use Total Cmdr's builtin archiving
tool 99% of the time. I only mention the nix tools zip & unzip because they
were free unlike WinZip. FWIW one could just about pay for Total Cmdr for
the price of WinZip & get much more bang for the buck IMO.
I'll grant you that some people use context menus otherwise they probably
wouldn't be around any longer but most people that I've met have a context
menu that is a mile long & they don't know what half of it is for because
they do whatever the defaults are like lost sheep. I don't disagree with
they want a GUI just that it has to be a context menu such as Windows
Explorer uses. Heck Total Cmdr uses a context menu but it is much more
configurable without having to dig thru each app that adds to it or digging
thru the registry that most lusers aren't even aware exists which is
probably for the best.
