W2K seems to have at least 2, and possibly 3 'default's for the explorer 1 is right-click from the desktop 'My Computer' 2 is right-click from the icon on the 'start' bar 3 is from the settings control panel
Open a single instance of a 'windows explorer' window and when you have set the window to the way you want it then to get it to remember the setup hold ctrl down while you use file close Sometimes my system reverts, or switches to a different 'default' and I still haven't found out why! Alternatively you can setup shortcuts to folders etc and adjust them to use the appropriate options ( see MS KB for windows explorer command line options) JimB. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kylde" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2005 5:42 PM Subject: Re: APPS: explorer.exe > just press win-e > > Gianmaria Fontana di Sacculmino wrote on 27/07/2005, 17:36: > > > I recently switched to win2k pro.
