Actually, I haven't thought about this at all and thus have no opinion... so, as
far as I am concerned, it isn't "evident" to me about the legality. In my 
original
post I was simply extracting/forwarding information from a technical electronic
newsletter to which I subscribe thinking that perhaps it would be of interest to
some list members. 

I suppose that if I were to want to produce such a CD, then I would think more 
on
the legalities. I have a number of original Windows (versions) CDs, which I'm 
about
to use in reviewing Microsoft's Virtual PC software, so I guess I do have legal
product with Product Key. I'm just not certain how/where Windows can be used...
