My friend has an HP computer,  model (A296N), that I am helping him optimize. 
When I click the Help & Support icon, nothing happens. I suggested that he 
called tech support to fix the problem and ONE of the technicians told him that 
he had to reformat the drive and start from scratch again. That sounds like a 
last resort solution if you cant fix it by any other means. Any suggestions 
would be appreciated.
