I would ask the person to resend it, preferably zipped - it is likely corrupt as the recipient client doesn't care what the senders Excel has open for updating.
If the recipient is using Exchange (or possibly groupwise or notes) it could be caused by antivirus scanning - although you'd expect it to be a problem with both attachments, not just one. -- -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brandy Sinco Sent: Thursday, September 08, 2005 9:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Read-only XLS file??? Pete, Let's see, I think you said somebody e-mailed this file to you. Ask the person to re-send it. -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
