First, go into Setup and see if more than one floppy drive is listed. One of my services is to install floppy drives on Dell's etc. where the floppy drive was omitted. I do not remember seeing but one floppy drive port listed. The status of the port (choice of which type of floppy drive is attached to that port or "none") does not matter as that can be set as you desire. What does matter is if you have one port to make the choice for or two ports to make the choice for. If you do not have two ports showing I see no way you will be able to run two floppy drives.

Well, Chuck, this is good advice, but I haven't decided which M/B to use yet -- so I can't do what you suggest.

If the MSI M/B can only support one FDD, I will likely go elsewhere, but MSI hasn't given me reliable information yet, so I ask here. Supporting only one FDD doesn't seem to make sense. The mfg would have to go to unnecessary effort to disable one FDD. Seems odd.
