Combining that info with Partition Magic I was able to clean up the
drive. Thanks to all who responded to my problem.

I did that but I am still left with a drive letter assigned to that
unused partition. PM8 does allow resizing the partition, but when
merging in windows it says " error 4 while executing batch error 4
bad argument/parameter" .
