Getting rid of all the stuff that "comes along for the ride" with any virus infection is extremely difficult. You need more than Ad-Aware, and more than just an anti-virus program. Among other essential tools which are free: Spybot Search & Destroy Microsoft Antispyware Sysinternals' Autoruns (use instead of MSCONFIG) Emisoft.com A-squared Free And most importantly - after loading these programs and updating online, boot into safe mode before scanning.
