When I opened the message, I found that Bill Hatcher had written: > I must say again that I find $7.99 per year for both registration AND hosting, > with the hosting providing 5 mailboxes and more than adequate capacity, not to > mention website hosting if desired, is pretty cheap!
Hi Bill, I'm pretty dense about these things most of the time.....especially when I'm half asleep, so let me ask you this: 1. Get a domain name through Yahoo for $2.97/yr, right? 2. With that I get zip.........just claim a name, right? 3. Who will host it for $5.00/year and provide the mailboxes, etc? 4. I understand that that doesn't give you a web page. 5. So, what is the proceedure you used to get email flowing within an hour? My current domain is tools-2-software.com. That's hosted by ipowerweb.com (which, BTW, was rated number one by one review) and I also have a page there, such as it is. I used to deal heavy in software, but no longer. Therefore, my domain name isn't appropriate any longer, so I want it to focus on tools mainly. I don't do nearly as much of that either anymore <smile>. Never hurts to have a good domain name parked somewhere. Might be worth something someday <smile>. Thanks for sharing, Bill. Regards, Jim I SELL TOOLS!
