We continue to have problems with my daughter's Compaq Presario 1500
notebook computer (XP Home, SP2). If I try to boot from a CD, it says the CD
is not bootable. I have tried this with a Windows XP installation CD and
with Wayne's diagnostic CD. Both of these CDs are bootable in my other
computers.
Are you sure that the CDrom drive in the Compaq is set as bootable in
the bios ?
