The VIA VT 8237. It supports upto 8 USB2 ports.
The point is that even if I remove all usb devices and
connect only the Plextor, still doesn't work.This problem
is going beyond my imagination. ALL the parts work
since I tested all of them separately. Tomorrow I'm going
to borrow another drive to check if it is just the Plextor
which doesn't like to work from the external box.
