Hi Eve,

Something to check is the type of PCMCIA slot in the PC.
I have an old Toshiba laptop which has type I slots (& a D-Link NIC/modem card), but it will not accept the more recent type II cards (your PC probably will be OK here).
You also have the choice of wifi or wired adapters (+ modem).

HTH,

Subject: Win2000 ethernet PCMCIA card?

Can someone recommend a good PCMCIA card for a Win 2000 laptop circa 2002? This computer was not set up with any built-in networking stuff. Is there any reason that the owner couldn't retrofit it with the right additional hardware?

Thanks --
