You can always find which key causes the WM to pass the next key directly
to the app.
Sawfish used to have Ctrl-Alt-Q for quote, but it seems this is disabled
now. But if you use sawfish you can go into your keybindings and set
Ctrl-Alt-Q to Quote key. I am sure other WM's have the same thing.
Also I beleive if you use sawfish you can have it trap Windows-Tab and send
Alt-Tab, possibly even for only the Win4Lin window so the other ones work
normally. You will probably need to write a simple script to do this, but
I believe the architecture of sawfish does make this possible.
As for other WM's I am not sure but if anyone has any insights maybe they
could share them here.
