This seems like a strange interaction between win4lin and NFS.  Please
open up a support incident on this.  I assume that you can only
reproduce this using NFS.  Do you have any other NFS servers to test
with (or only SGI).  It would be helpful to know if this is specific
to the server or not.  The URL for submitting a problem report is:
