Hi all-

Just starting out down the win4lin path and am curious about a few things.
I did look at the archives and saw a few messages/threads about the use of
debian potato and this sounds good. The only thing that is kind of missing
is that there are kernel patches for the 2.2.16smp kernel and not one for
the uniprocessor 2.2.16 one like which runs on my dell laptop. I can
upgrade the kernel sources but have been rather happy with the solid
performance of the 2.2.16 kernel. I do not use deb packages for the kernel.

The other thing is getting some success stories from the list members
regarding successes running Office 2k including MS Project 2k and MS Visio
2k. These are the only windows applications I need to run at the present
time. I will not be using the windows installation for email.

I will be running win4lin on a little Latitude Ls lightweight with a Pentium
III 400 coppermine, 10 gig hard disk drive, and 256mb of memory.

Thanks!
