"wine" is a bit too vague to make any sense to anyone, so could you answer a few questions: Where is the data being input - a builtin app like notepad, or a 3rd party app? How is the data being input - keyboard, clipboard, file or network and if not a builtin app, which APIs are being used? What OS are you running? What does the typing "locale" in a terminal output? -- Rob Shearman
