Assuming gvim is similar enough to normal vim, you can use listchars
to highlight various things. Use nbsp for non-breaking spaces. You can
use Ctrl+K to insert digraphs. Use "NS" for non-breaking space,
:digraphs for a list.
More precisely, as Henri told me, you can use sthg like

set list listchars=tab:»·,trail:·,nbsp:␣
(when using utf-8 encoding)

It's magic. Nbsp are better than in emacs. Thanks to both of you. I didn't manage to insert NS with control+K tough.
