So did I. I agree with your analysis. At the beginning of the thread we were talking about the original 802.11 spec, not the b extension. I still think that the DS is 1-2 Mbps and should have about the same total on-air time as FH. I'm interested in interference, and I'm curious why FH is more damaging than DS.
