The recent Slashdot article about the Linksys WRT54G running on linux suggested that there were drivers included in the image for all the Broadcom 54G chipset types. I do wonder if an example of a compiled MIPS driver is enough information to reverse engineer and create an Intel driver. I'm sure it's tricky, but that looks like the sort of challenge that would appeal to some people.
