The Reflector is one negative trait regarding Trango. When the Internal
short range, and external long range foxes were two different unit, it was
disappointing that the Fox only had a reflector option compared to the
5830ext. However, my opinion on that has all changed now that its just one
radio for short or long range, just a factor of sliding it into the
reflector. There is a big cash flow advantage to having to jsut stock one
radio instead of two. You pre-configure the radio, go onsite, try internal
version first, if can't pull off the link, you add the reflector dish, no
reconfiguarion needed, and off you go. This is a BIG time saver, compared
to having to go onsite with two radios every install. Sure we can do site
paths (distance) up front, but you can't predict noise floors.

That reflector is super-ugly, and without it, they don't go far enough for
