Mike, There are real physical limits to the amount of throughput that a radio channel (X MHz wide) can handle. Ranting at manufacturers isn't going to change this very much. You can only flow so much water through a pipe. Increase the pressure without increasing the pipe diameter and the pipe bursts. This issue is physics-based so ranting may make you feel better but when you're done, the same physical constraints remain. This is why having enough spectrum space (enough channels) is so important. Bottom line is WISPs don't have enough spectrum space to deliver all that throughput reliably to all those customers without creating interference for every other network operator out there.
