The only thing we use to seal these connectors is fusion tape from GB. I can get it from the local hardware store. I suspect that this is a problem.
How is everyone sealing connectors on towers? This one particular site is at 3100ft so it gets wind and cold. Snow & ice on it for a few 2-week periods per year. Lots of rain during the winter. It's been the worst for coax failures.
