Since you are already familiar with StarOS, I'd recommend putting up a couple of X2000 boards with 2' dishes. $225 each for the X2000s and $170 each for the 2' dishes.
I have X4000s with 2' dishes shooting 32 miles with no problems, and one 45 mile shot with a 3' on one end and a 2' at the other. The 45mile one will do 16meg. I have a 25 mile shot that will do 30meg no problem. There are several benefits to this setup. Since the X2000 already has a second card, you can hook up an omni on the customer's tower, and you have a repeater. OSPF and OLSR routing is already in place and ready to go. And you are already familiar with StarOS and how to use it. You will burn up a lot of time learning how Mikrotik works if you go in that direction. If you decide to go this direction, hit me offlist.
