I have never had a problem finding rooms at Dayton, usually with my normal reservations taking place 2-3 days before the show. Never.
Now, the hamvention, like all the other hamfests, is no where near as packed as it was 10 years ago too. 4 years ago I did not even have reservations and found rooms at the first place I stopped at, a Drury. Don't take your organs to heaven, heaven knows we need them down here!
