I agree on the wysiwyg. We always get our art done, build our
templates, sign off on them, then separate pres and bus and code.
I do like the idea of having wysiwyg html in php ide, but it wouldn't
be used for the bulk of coding, just prototyping.

Now, it's probably not perfect, but it goes a far site better than
trying to
do it all one way and run into those "porting problems", should they
come
along. (smile)
I guess I really never liked using the WYSIWYG approach to web
development
and the tango/witango cute little development environment is nearly
*required* to be used. However, one certainly has always had the
opportunity
to use @INCLUDE. And I do, as often as possible to give me as much
MVC as I
can squeeze out of Witango.
For those of you that need to have your SQL written for you in the
WYSIWYG
environment, or can't code HTML without it, then you are limited by
what you
get (the WYG is all you can do).
The With folks just cannot create an application for you that does
this:
(one button): CREATE MY SITE
If they can create a great framework, you can use other means to
make it
work better.

Pretty bad when were discussing what other programming platforms to

I'm not throwing stones one bit. I just hope that With is watching
and
listening to what's going on. Because there's been no word from
With, or any
news, and we are starting to make informed business decisions about
development platforms. After all, we're all business people and we
have to
do what's right for our business.
