I can't think of any relationship between AppSearch and FindRelatedProducts so I would think it wouldn't matter on their order but I think it is important that they are before LaunchConditions.
Just to explain why this is a problem to me, most of my installs are run silently and consequently the LaunchConditions won't trigger if a newer version of the application is install and you can end installing an older version as well as newer one. If anyone is interested I blogged about this http://neilsleightholm.blogspot.com/2009/01/launchconditions-findrelated products.html. Should I raise a bug for this so it isn't lost?
