The permissions are: SYSTEM: Full Control Installer Service Account: Full Control
So no other users can access or execute the shortcut. I can see only two places in the log file where file security is set and that is when calling the system restore service before installation commences and when copying the msi file to the local machine cache. I started the installer from a cmd window with elevated priviledges with the command line "msiexec -i Setup.msi -lvx* install.log". What are the permissions from Explorer?
