It is possible to _find_ who the true author is if you
read the log. But even in the webpage you can read this
author John H. Robinson, IV <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

So I think either you or Mercurial have made a mistake
somewhere.

That would be ok if both fields ('user' and 'author')
were in the output of 'hg log', but that is not the case.
It appears that Mercurial treats "user" as the author...
It would be really odd if the output of 'hg log' doesn't
show you unambigously who the author is, don't you agree?
