I am pretty sure it has to do with the stuff safari does to the
window decoration which cxoffice tries to support in some way.
I would pretty mauch think that the application is not what we
would call well-behaved, but in any case WM needs to be able to
deal with such apps without crashing.

Yep, I suffer from the same problem. I use WM for my daily work,
so in some rare cases (like yesterday) I can spend a few minutes
on debugging, but most of my time I need to spend on my own code :)
