This is understandable. I am a bit clueless on how to address this problem. Maybe if you look at the patch, you'll find that it will at least not do any harm? As there seems to be trend towards very "custom" GUI apps with individual or no title bars at all, I'd expect the problem we're talking about here to become rather more than less relevant in the near future...
