What has triggered this, is an article about Linus' hating the new Gnome3.
The alternatives mentioned were KDE4 (everyone left for Gnome2),
XFCE, and one mention of WindowMaker which also mentioned that its a dead
project .

Please just put SOMETHING up to make people aware that WM is not completely
dead.
If noone knows its there, it may as well be dead.

Just a short note "this website is not being updated, but WM is alive.
please check the mailing list HERE, and a fan site HERE" (eg link to a
freaking WindowMaker facebook page if you have to)
