PHP programs tend to be rife with major problems, the biggest one seems
to be SQL injections. Some projectes (WordPress) seem to be fine, but
their plugins (also in PHP) cause major grief.

I prefer PostgreSQL for database purposes. SQLite for rapid prototyping,
but not production. I simply don't trust MySQL with data integrity.
