"Selected" and "Focused" are different things, though. Windows are
"selected" when you click and drag a box around them, or choose "Select"
from the titlebar menu.

I suppose I may have confused matters by choosing the "Focused window"
preview to display the selected frame border color, as the focused
window usually has the regular frame border color. It just seemed the
most natural choice, as often one would select the focused window.
