Right, that's what I meant. One source package from which you can
generate RPMs for different distros (that's what the openSUSE
build service seems to do).

Could you consider to submit your work with the specfile to the
wmaker git repository? The idea being that other people could
add the %ifdef's needed for other distros too, and we would have
a central specfile for wmaker.

I just want to have something that all distros could use in a
coordinated effort, helping use cases like the one Martin
described along the way.

But I guess I am too naive in trying to have such a thing.
