Eran,

As I said, we should use JIRA for all work items, including changing the build system. Please just announce any JIRA you want to discuss and give a link to it on the dev list like so [1]. Then we can capture discussion in the JIRA comments rather than the dev list. That makes it easy to review the complete thread of discussion. I'll comment further in JIRA. Thx.

Its not about benefit to a particular project. If I may ask whats the
benefit of using ant in Woden compared to maven, the question has no
meaning, IMHO.

As I mentioned earlier also, its all about user experience. This won't
harm in any way to Woden.

But if you insist on not doing it, I will withdraw without a problem :).

Are you trying to say that my use of JIRA to add the maven patch is
wrong, and only to use JIRA to have issues related to Woden?

I'm really sorry if I used JIRA in a wrong manner.

AFAIK, JIRA can also be used to attach patches of contributions. At
least thats the practice, with my experience in web services project.
They can be code related, documents related, or build system related.
*Anything* related to the project.

If you feel like not having that issue, please close it. Its the
community that should decide it and I'm ok with it.

Now I feel bad for trying to help with this maven thing to Woden. Seems
like I have done something which is not acceptable, for the first time
in open source world, but having a good intention to improve Woden.
