floats instead of inline elements for navigation. jaws uses ie, and ie renders it as inline element so jaws will read it as inline element.
floated blocks (btw, can one float list elements?) will be read differently (afaik. i don't have jaws yet).
lets hope new versions will support the new "screenreader" (just heard of it) media type.
