Why would you want to complain to a client about anything?  Clients don't
pay you to hear your complaints.

I can't help but think your frustration with IE is being misdirected to
innocent bystanders when you say this.  A client doesn't know better in many
cases, and as a professional, it's up to you to make sure you provide them
with a product that meets their expectations and (possibly, hopefully) more.
If you decide to charge more for IE compliance, and this is a BIG if,
perhaps you should not even itemize it on the invoice.

Mike said this is 'commercial suicide', and I would have to agree.
