Hello All, For those using JTSDK-PY to build WSJT & WSPR on Windows, there is a required fix to correct a missing Python3.dll and CX-FREEZE post-install paths. This method will update all three SDK's if you have them installed:
* Download JTSDK-DOC from: Link: http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/JTSDK-DOC.exe * Run the installer, install to: C:\ * Open a Windows Command Terminal, then type: - C:\JTSK-DOC\jtsdk-docenv.bat - At the prompt, co docs which include the updates - svn co svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/wsjt/wsjt/branches/doc - Close the CMD Window * Open Win-Explorer, browse to: - C:\JTSDK-DOC\doc\dev-guide\scripts - Double-Click on: install-scripts.bat - The install-scripts.bat will update all three SDK's if installed to the recommended locations: C:\JTSDK-PY, C:\JTSDK-QT and C:\JTSDK-DOC * With Win-Explorer, browse to C:\JTSDK-PY, and run: jtsdk-pyenv.bat - a small patch should be applied, which fixes the paths and copies the correct Python3.dll over to JTSDK-PY - You should now be able to build either WSJT or WPSR with: build wsjt or build wspr NOTE(s): For future updates, or until the SDK's are updated on the WSJT website, you can use this same method. You can also perform updates from within JTSDK-DOC itself, open jtsdk-docenv.bat, then type: update When the next build of the SDK's is posted, the update method may change. With this method, you also have the latest documentation tree. Running JTSDK-DOC, you can build all the latest docs, including the dev-guide which has been updated (still a work in progress) to include installing and updating all three SDK's along with building the 5 main applications on Windows. A Linux SDK is also in writing.
