That's what I figure...it's just that little blue line doesn't exactly jump out and slap you in the face... I could stand a warning box when you're close to the cutoff. Just a friendly "Be aware you are close to the JT9 cutoff frequency".

I think Mike means that a QSO partner who drifts down a few Hz could fall below the separator when working very close to it.
