To be fair "decode anything" really meant "decode JT9 reponses on my txmt freq" - I imagine there was some freq shift on the response.
I was thinking about this some more and for stupid/inattentive people like me a very friendly solution is if you transmit JT9 close to or below the JT9 limit a warning message. And if you receive JT9 close to that limit a warning message also. Whatchya' think? Just a friendly slap-in-the-face for those of us who make this mistake? On a related note....when transmitting in the WSPR range would be nice if the message told you the offsets to avoid so you don't have to discern the numbers. I can't figure out what this was about. I tried to reproduce what you describe. I set the blue dividing line to "JT65 2600 JT9", and the Tx and Rx frequencies both to 2600. Received signals in both modes continue to decode as usual. If you think there is a bug, or some undesirable behavior, could you please provide a recipe for reproducing the problem? -- Joe, K1JT ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7.
