I was fearful that as soon as I committed code using sfrsd that anyone 
could compile, there would be reports that "it did this" or "it didn't 
do that" ...

It is *far* too early for any casual on-the-air comparisons to be 
useful.  The new sfrsd code has simply been "dropped in" after testing 
it with simulated data.  Those tests were very thorough, but they tested 
only single signals with ideal gaussian noise.  No tuning has yet been 
done under multi-signal, real-world conditions.

As you could easily tell from the code, in revisions 5949 and 5950 kvasd 
is not used at all.
