a full test is:
1) install in a local directory,
2) install from the installer.
repeat for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux Debian style, Linux Red Hat/Fedora
style, FreeBSD with manpages configured to go to /usr/local/man rather
than the default of /usr/local/share/man (WSJT_MANPAGE_DESTINATION=. ).
