I'm also using Ubuntu with the mate DM
Out of interest, when you first started to build wsjtx with jtsdk, what 
processor did it report ?
I did flag a problem to Greg it was picking up my ARMhf processors as ARMl.
Not sure if that has been fixed.
Also worth doing a "make clean" in the build directory to clear out earlier 
part builds
If you are still getting stuck I'll put jtsdk on my C1, PI2 clone, and see if I 
get the same errors.
