Just to say that I followed the advice given by Bill
Try changing working directory to the build tree root and doing:
$ rm CMakeFiles/wsjtx.dir/plotter.cpp.o
$ make plotter.cpp.o
and see if the ICE recurs.

I had to separately run the following before success. But now everything is ok.
$ make plotter.cpp.o
$ make main.cpp.o
$ make mainwindow.cpp.o
