Right-click Windows icon in lower leftDevice ManagerGo to each USB controller
and each device -- some but not all will have a "Power Management" tab.
Disable the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option.
Additionally, in the Power & Sleep settings you can go into the Advanced
setting and turn off "USB selective suspend".

Hi Frank,

non-responsive audio after an hour or so is a symptom of Windows
powering down USB devices to save power, make sure that you have
disabled power saving options for USB hubs in Windows Device Manager and
for USB devices in the Windows Power Plan Advanced Settings.
