Andy,
I have just seen it doing something similar here in Hound mode (it just cost me a contact to OJ0C actually). It wouldn't apply the right TX offset in this case and so my reply to them ended up above 1kHz instead of where it should have been when I should have QSYed. I will see if I can catch it doing it again. In the short time I have been using it I have observed two spontaneous changes to my RX frequency and one spontaneous change to my TX frequency. No such changes were seen with ver 2.0.1 and the only thing that has changed in my environment is that WSJT-X ver 2.1.0 is running instead of ver 2.0.1. I'm using OmnRig to control my Kenwood TS-590S. The most event was recorded by my Kenwood/Elecraft interface controller and annotated as follows: "Spontaneous RX freq change WSJT-X ver 2.1.0 with OmniRig 2019-07-17 09:19:59 96:49:12.269 New IF - IF00018100000 004100005020010000; << receiving 18100.000 2019-07-17 09:20:16 96:49:28.539 New IF - IF00018101000 004100005121010000; << transmitting 18101.000 2019-07-17 09:20:16 96:49:28.865 New IF - IF00018100000 004100005020010000; << receiving 18100.000 2019-07-17 09:35:23 97:04:28.868 backlight off 2019-07-17 09:38:47 97:07:50.918 New IF - IF00018100055 004100005020010000; << spontaneous change. The first is MST, the second is time since controller reset. The controller can only read TS-590 frequencies and cannot set them.) What, if anything, was changed in the OmniRig interface between ver 2.0.1 and ver 2.1.0? Are any other OmniRig users seeing this anomaly? Thanks and 73, Andy, k3wyc
