Hello Mike- I have the Flex 6700 8 slice sdr. Several times have started as many as six instances of WSJT-X and feed each one with the same slice and in a different test each instance with a different slice. The decode count is usually +/- 1 when all instances are feed with the same DAX audio stream. When each instance gets a different slice the count can vary +/- 3. But like you have noticed occasionally one instance will have a much lower decode count than all the others on a busy band like 20M, and returns to high count on the next cycle. Have not gone to the extent of saving the low count .wav file to see what’s going on. My pc is Win 10 Pro I7 4790K 4 GHz 16 gig memory. Resource Manager shows less than 100% CPU utilization during the decode cycle. PC does not appear to be overloaded running multiple instances of WSJT-X.
