Uwe As others have stated, there are occasions when one wants to use WSJT-X to generate a carrier for a long, non-fixed time. For example, someone on 10GHz EME was doing exactly that (to look for drift in a TWT over time. Having a time limited Tune would be a new feature that a number of folks won't like, as expressed here in other messages.
If a 'watchdog' is to be added to Tune, then please allow those of us who don't want it to be able to revert to its historic behaviour. 73 Charlie DL3WDG On Sun, 6 Mar 2022 at 19:55, DG2YCB, Uwe via wsjt-devel < [email protected]> wrote: > Well, basically it is no problem to make a checkbox to deactivate such a > TUNE watchdog, but tell me: What do you need it for? > > > > 73 de Uwe DG2YCB > > > > *Von:* Carey Fisher via wsjt-devel [mailto: > [email protected]] > *Gesendet:* Sonntag, 6.
