I agree it's not the one-click thing.

But if i want the same browser to be able to switch between
proxy and no-proxy, on the fly, then what would be the choice ?
* Reconfiguring the browser on-the-fy ? No way AFAICS.
* Put up a script (one click icon) to restart wwwoffle with another
config that makes him to pass anything through ? It adds unnecessary
complexity to what should de just the plain direct internet connection
and i'm not even sure if it would work es desired, still wwwoffle would
be the one fetching the stuff and that means a difference. Also there
would be no visual feedback within the browser.
* Probably there could be a javascript bookmarklet switch hacking
the browser internally, but then a real extension/plugin would be more
appropriate. And then there's FP and noone would go for something else.

With FoxyProxy, i see by the color of the icon in the right lower corner
what's up:
- Completely diabled (=browser default = direct connection),
- Using wwwoffle for all URLs, or
- Use Proxies based on the fork filters.

To switch i need one right click and one left click i think that's acceptable.

I'm not sure if i understand you here. I'm using linux FP 2.2.1 perhaps
we're not running the same version ? Did you try checking 'Global settings ->
Show status in status bar' ?
