I am not convinced that it is not worth the energy to have Perl specific documentation but I certainly think it would be great to have stand-alone examples. Wx::Demo is great but I always have some trouble extracting the actual part that I need to achieve something. In Padre we started to create a set of examples of wxPerl using stand-alone scripts. We already have 4 ! ;-) We also package them with Padre and install them so users will have direct access to the examples. (Through the Open Example menu option). If you do start writing such examples and/or documentation we would be glad to have it part of the Padre project - even if it is displayed-packaged separately. As far as I know currently the most active wxPerl based open source project is Padre so you'd be really welcome to join our irc channel ( #padre at irc.perl.org ) and ask question or contribute to our project. Gabor ps. it seems that in the #wxperl channel there are less humans than bots. Where is everyone ?
